When alignment is off, there's disorder, conversely, when alignment is right, there's order.
Take this morning for example. The garage door wouldn't go down when my husband was leaving for work. I noticed he'd come back in the driveway, so I went to check because he hadn't come into the house yet. I told him I'd help and he went off to work. I had it working after a few adjustments, prayer, and declaration.
Ask any chiropractor, if the spine is out of alignment the subluxations block nutrients from getting to the cells. Dysfunction and disease can follow. Pain often reminds along the way that something isn't right. The body is out of alignment. I learned this from Dr. Robert Baric over 20 years ago.
So too in the Body of Christ, Christ is the Head of the body. The body is the Church. Colossians 1:18
I like to equate a Christ follower to a cell in the Body of Christ. We are called to be a functioning member, utilizing our at-least-one gift for the benefit of others. For more direction look at 1 Corinthians 12-14, Colossians, and Ephesians 4.
God is cleaning up the Bride of Christ in preparation for the Wedding. Alignment I'm realizing is a key He's using in the cleanup.
