Here at Influence Writing we desire to teach spiritual truths simply. We hope you find here inspiration, thought provoking ideas, and humility. May we spur you on to document your own testimony in whatever form you express yourself best? Revelation 12:11 (KJV) says, “And they overcame him (the accuser of our brethren) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.”
Laura Hamo is an intercessor, which means she prays A LOT. Her life story is one started in folly. Folly led her to its destructive end. A divine intervention with Christ saved her from herself and instantly switched the path she walked on from folly’s to wisdom’s. Relating intimately with her Lord, Jesus Christ, she experiences daily His redeeming grace. God, who began a good work in her, will be faithful to complete it. (Phil. 1:6 paraphrased) She’s a soldier in the army of God who is called to teach what she has learned. She taught for 13 years at Cary Christian School where God gave her an education along with her students. Walking by faith in a mighty God, that’s how she lives her life. Her first book which is soon to be published has the working title, He’s Got You Covered. In it she explains her understanding of wearing the armor of God.
If you’re a former student of Laura’s, who hasn’t gotten their sixth grade “10 questions” back; contact her here and she’ll make sure you get it, either physically or virtually. She continues to pray for you, even now.
You will find many things here at Influence Writing. Original songs, blog posts, and copywriting services are the beginning few; more will be added over time.
Share your email with us and in return you will receive an original song Laura recorded a long time ago, a lullaby with soothing sounds and deep words. The story of this song is quite an example of how God puts dreams in your heart that don’t go away. They may be trampled upon, denied, delayed, or doubted but God knows about ‘em. He put them in you and He’ll draw them out. He is faithful.
Take a look around, ask questions, be inspired. Visit often. Most importantly, know that God loves you.
