Faith, Hope, and Love: Today's Revelation

During my quiet time this morning, the Lord led me to read 1 Corinthians 13. This is the "love" chapter.

God's already convicted me of my loveless, clanging-cymbal sounds and my childish thinking, and especially the "thinketh no evil" section in verse 5. Today He, and when I say "He" I mean Holy Spirit, who is GOD and is my teacher because I am God's Daughter and I learn. Setting the record strait, I am. The depth of Scripture is never ending and revelations are forever findable when you look INTO the WORD of God.

Now where was I (sorry for all the defending;I am working on being preemptive). NOT SORRY!

Back to 1 Corinthians 13:13 (LOOK at those numbers! That should be easy to remember!) which says in the King James Version, "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity." Charity has a little T next to it and at the end of the verse the word 'love', thus charity = love.

Now abideth, or abide, I'd already underlined. Abide has two meanings. God's either going to show me the way of escape OR He's going to give me the grace to bear up under it. It being whatever trial I am going through.

I asked Holy Spirit if Faith represented Him, if Hope represented Christ, and if LOVE represented ABBA, The Most High God.

I heard "Yes."

Then I asked, "Did Jesus Christ come in the flesh?"

And I heard, "Yes."

That's how we learn from Holy Spirit.

Let God's Light shine through your cracks, always be ready to testify, and give God all the glory.

P. S. If you are looking for more Scripture references to help you grow and explain some of my thinking. Here they are: Luke 18:8, Col. 1:27, John 10:29, Matthew 12:50, John 17, 1 John 4, Romans 8:17, John 15:26, Romans 8:11. Happy Hunting!
