Hearing my mother say my name, unexpectedly brought tears to my eyes.

Hearing my name, not Sweet, or some other euphemism.

I realized instantly how rare it is these days to hear my own name.

Judgement

God is displaying it.

Are you hearing his warnings?

Don't make Him get louder.

Let Love lead you in silence today,
Let Love lead you in the words you say,
Let Love lead you as you clean the sink,
Let Love lead you in the thoughts you think.

Pulling the tops of the weeds only works as a short-term fix. If you want lasting results, you need to get to the roots. 

On New Year’s Day, I weeded the mulch that lay around the base of the Ginkgo Biloba in the front yard. I had short gloves on with a few holes in the tips of some fingers. 

Our pasts: I've been so hung up on the history of families. Why are we the way we are?  I've come to realize we only need to know one history — His story.

I pray in reading this poem people will believe in Jesus Christ, the Savior, and no longer fear death or dying.

My thoughts on the impeachment vote today, Lord, have mercy on us.

Lord, protect President Trump. He’s got impurities in him, just like the rest of us. He’s also called by You, just like the rest of us. You equip him as you do each one called. You anoint each one as You see fit.
